GCCG(II) Project Status
Currently the GCCG(II) is in its first stages of development. I haven't been able to play any GalCiv (no internet connection) so right now all that's being done is the conception of the project. More to come soon.
It's a crude and very basic display of the relationship between the GCCG(I) vs. GCCG(II). One thing to note is that even though the GCCG(II) game is gonna be longer, the average time is going to be seriously cut down due to cranking requirements. My plans are obvious: To create the fastest Masochistic difficulty level game possible, while maintaining the best efficiency and quality as possible. Plans to test the GCCG(II) is going to be more elaborate. This will help eliminate any anomalous score possiblities and game errors. Also, this project is only fully open to a select few. As it nears completion, more people will be asked to help with verification issues. Here's my version for a outline of the project currently: I.The GCCG(II) Project a. Data Gathering b. Data Compilation c. Data Research d. Testing e. Completion A.Data Gathering 1. Using most recent version of GalCiv a. Any update during the GCCG(II) project will be incorporated 2. Varied Statistics a. Can help to pinpoint time and efficiency problems, and eliminate possible anomalous scoring 3. Extensive Play a. Elaborate play will help determing game limits 4. Feedback a. Can help to determine accuracy of data 5. External Data a. Will be needed as well for GCCG(II) research purposes B. Data Compilation 1. Faster Production a. Compiling data ensures decreased research time 2. Organization a. Organized data before, after and during compilation will ensure decreased research time b. Also will help to ensure accuracy of data 3. External Data a. Will be kept seperate of internal data C. Data Research 1. Accuracy a. Greater accuracy can be achieved through extensive research 2. Comparisons a. Can contribute to more accurate and precise data b. Will help to note and remedy efficiency and time problems c. Can help to determine theoretical anomalous score possiblilities d. Comparasion to external data sources will further increase GCCG(II) quality D Testing 1. Accuracy a. Will determine if research produces desired results 2. Suggestion a. Improvement needed to help ensure best total quality of the GCCG(II) b. Will contribute to making the GCCG(II) more pratical to the average player 3. Feedback a. Needed to make final improvements to the GCCG(II) E. Completion 1. Adjustments a. Will be done upon evaluation of testing results b. Possibly needed to ensure GCCG(II) quality 2. Final a. Will be done without any further feedback or testing b. Will be as complete as possible c. Will be of the highest quality possible 3. Updates a. Possible adjustment will need to be made as GalCiv updates b. Will be done when critical errors have been noted after completion c. Possibly will be done when enough quantity of suggestion/comments of non-critical adjustments need to be made So there you have it ladies and gentlemen. The project's outline. Take note that this isin't the GCCG(II) guide outline itself, this is just the outline for the PROJECT ONLY! In the future I will hope to have more statistics and things such as graphs to illustrate some aspects of the data when it is released to the public. As the project moves along, I will archive this page and any subsquent ones as they become obsolete and updated information on the project status will be put on this page. |
