With that aside, I'll tell you about G.R.O.S.S. from my perspective. I'm not sure what the master plan of the boss is, and I'm sure if anything I would've known. If there's anything I leave outta here boss, let me know.

G.R.O.S.S. stands for Get Rid Of Slimy alienS. It's a play off of Calvin and Hobbs comics that the boss made up. It would seem that it would be very pratical seeing how GalCiv is all about getting rid of them. Me being the second member of G.R.O.S.S. I still don't know WHY the boss picked that out (and I'm supposed to be one of the founders of G.R.O.S.S.?), but I'm sure he had his reasons. Now in the modern age of the Maso, it has became more than just some silly spin-off from the Calvin and Hobbs comic. G.R.O.S.S. is a very close knit family of space pirates that wouldn't want anything more than to pillage your village, make the aliens (and some people) walk the plank, and get rich off of exploiting the galaxy. G.R.O.S.S. is one of the oldest empires in the Meta/Maso. If you're not running away from the pirates, then check out the barnacles on the ship hulls to see how old this empire is!

G.R.O.S.S.'s mission has always been the same. In fact G.R.O.S.S. enpire has been one of the few oldest and most active empire to retain to its mission from the beginning. Everything in-between was just a extension of G.R.O.S.S. G.R.O.S.S. has been dedicated to becoming the sole universe superpower since the beginning. G.R.O.S.S. has also held the longest record for being the #1 empire. Just like with every other empire though, G.R.O.S.S. has its share of inactive players, overlords and senators alike (anyone remember CoffeeDragon?).

G.R.O.S.S. is also one of the most respected and noticed empires. It also is the most evil empire (in my opinion) to include me who held the most evil ranking for the longest time. G.R.O.S.S. is willing to accept all who wish to join, and those that wish to be promoted must show through their dedication and courage to go up against the scallywags of the universe.

Being a great empire, it also holds the record for the biggest communication thread in the Metaverse. G.R.O.S.S. is always continuing to improve its tactics and communications. With me being in G.R.O.S.S. has developed the widley know (at its time) GCCG(I), and is currently now researching and developing the next generation of a GCCG.

Bottom line: Wether you're the man asleep (or dead) on firewatch (CoffeeDragon), a martyr of the Meta (Staffa, EBZ), a barnacle scrubber (?), or just another mate on board, always ask yourself when wondering to join...
